Electro Spax 2K24

The EPSA Committee, a dynamic group from the Electrical Engineering Department of G. E. S. R. H. Sapat College of Engineering, Nashik, orchestrated an event “Electro Spax 2K24” that reverberated with creativity, innovation, and camaraderie. The event held on an auspicious Saturday 20/04/2024, this event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests in a celebration of knowledge and talent.

Guest lecture on topic of “Cyber security & SAP Technology” The lecture aimed to bridge the gap between traditional electrical engineering and the dynamic Information Technology (IT) sector.

GATE Guidance Program :On 27th April 2022 an expert talk was arranged on the topic “GATE Guidance Program”, of guest Mr. Suraj Singh (AIR-4, 2016) coordinated by Career Guidance Cell Coordinator Prof. V.S. Meshram. He guided students about GATE, CAT, GMAT, GRE etc exams and how to pursue those exams and excel in it. Gate Exam Preparation Online Session

Technical Activity: Hands-on Workshop on use of Devices and Instruments

The hand on workshop on use of devices and instruments coordinated by Dr. Atul Koshti and conducted by Prof. M.U.Shetty, Prof S.V. Chakor, Prof S. P. Koparkar, Prof. Mrs. S. G. Khadilkar, Prof M. V. Reddy and, Prof V. S. Meshram for two day 5th and 6th Aug 2022 targeting Third year students and entry level. The workshop is attended by 92 students

The department of electrical engineering has organised two-day workshop for final year students on 22nd Aug and 29th Aug 2022. The hands-on workshop on power quality management successfully conducted under the guidance of workshop coordinator Prof M. U. Shetty with accomplished faculty Prof. Mrs. R. S. Tidke. On day one 22nd Aug 2022, in the morning session Prof M. U. Shetty has given Introduction of workshop and explained various power quality issues in detail.  The response of students is overwhelmed during hands on experiments on power quality analyser in the afternoon session. The Harmonic analysis, voltage sag, unbalance etc explained. Prof. R.S Tidke and Prof M. U. Shetty has conducted hands on experiments for Harmonic analysis of Induction motor, transformer, and desktop/computer etc.
Technical Activity: SE PBL Final Demonstrations

The mentors of all groups took efforts, and guided the students for successful demonstration of the projects. The event was organized on 2nd Aug 2022, by PBL Student Coordinators Mr. Mitesh Sonawane, Miss. Sakshi Bhamre, Miss. Isha Kulkarni, Miss. Sakshi More under the guidance of Prof. V. R. Naphade and Prof. H. B. Wagh who are faculty coordinators of second year. Miss. Sakshi Bhamre welcomed our Chief Guests, Prof. P. M. Deshpande (Director Projects) and Dr. P. C. Kulkarni (Principal) along with the event Judges by delivering a short welcome speech. Chief Guests personally visited to all 32 groups, and discussed student’s project.

Technical Activity: SE PBL Final Demonstrations*

The student’s chapter Electrical Power Students Association (EPSA) committee has organized the technical college event “Electro-spark” on 20th May 2023 under the guidance of EPSA coordinator Mr H.B.Wagh. Significant Role of these event aim was to create awareness among the students about the to provide student with opportunities to apply their technical knowledge and skills in practical studies.

Project Competition:

The heart of the event lay in the project presentations on 20/04/2024. Ingenious minds had toiled for weeks, conceptualizing, designing, and refining their projects. From eco-friendly energy solutions to cutting-edge software applications, the projects spanned diverse domains.

Social Activity1: Orphanage Visit to “Anath Balakashram” 

The orphanage visit is arranged on 12th Nov 2022 with Second year students at Smt.Garda Anath Balakashram, Khambale, Taluka Trimbakeshwar, Nashik, Nashik-Trimbak Road. The visit coordinated by Prof. H.B. Wagh, Prof V.R. Naphade and Prof. Miss U.M. Mathure. The purpose of the visit is making better interaction of students socially, see the world beyond comfort and, give some social service to others. The students learn various social morals when they meet the orphanage children and, learn that how to live happy life in any condition by helping others and making everyone happy. The students understand their mindset and how the orphanage staff make children mindset valuable for good things.

Activities Undertaken: –

  1. Gift distribution to each one of the kids.
  2. Playing games, talking with orphanage children by students.
  3. Small to visit to the orphanage.
  4. Understanding the working process of the orphanage.
Social Activity2: Food and Blankets Distribution to Unprivileged People.

 

The social activity planned and conducted with help of TE and BE students, coordinated by Prof. V.S. Meshram and Prof Miss U.M Mathure. The activity aims food and blankets distribution to unprivileged people. One survey had done by the students in which they found out there are many unprivileged people who need food and blankets. The students had purchased 67 Food packets and 50 blankets for the people on the Railway Station which was contributed by 96 students (30 from T.E. & 66 from B.E.). Total 66 active volunteers were divided into 2 groups. 33 students were visited the Railway Station on 29th November and remaining 33 visited on 3rd December 2022. Purchased items were distributed amongst the unprivileged people on Railway station by the students
